Racine-Nancy Jean Hamilton, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2022, surrounded by her family. 

Nancy was born to the late Milton and Rose (nee Philip) Youngs on December 31, 1946, in Racine. She was united in marriage to James C. Hamilton on March 28, 1964, also in Racine. They were married for 48 years until James’ passing on April 23, 2012. 

Nancy worked as an armature winder at Ametek in Racine for several years. She loved to read, shop, work on puzzles, and spend time with her cats. Nancy enjoyed being outside and would birdwatch whenever she could. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Above all, she loved her family and cherished every moment she had with them. 

Nancy will be deeply missed by her loving children: daughters: Terri (Andy) Hapanowicz and Kimberly (Roman) Anchondo; son, Douglas Hamilton; grandchildren: Lukas, Gabe, Brooke, Jessica, Devon, Serena, Bailey, and Kayla; great-grandchildren: Cataleya, Eliana, Elias, along with one on the way; sisters: Peggy Behling and Yvonne Youngs; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, James C. Hamilton, and her son, Randy Hamilton. 

Memorial services in honor of Nancy were private. Her final resting place will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
