RACINE - Sheryl L. Jewell, 57, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Tuesday, April 26, 2005. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on May 29, 1947, to Lester and Bernice (nee: Miliano) Worden. On January 28, 1967, she was united in holy matrimony to Dan Jewell in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sheryl worked as the Deputy Administrative Assistant of Courts for Racine County until her retirement in 2001. She loved to have fun and enjoyed bingo, singing, playing the organ, and shopping. She treasured her time spent with family, visiting with her sisters in Arkansas, and being a foster parent to 13 children. Above all, she was the best at just being a mom and grandma. Sheryl was a member of St. Lucy's Catholic Church. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dan; their loving daughters, Shellie (Jamie) Bull, Carrie (Dan) Walker, all of Racine, and Angel Jewell of South Milwaukee; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Mitchell, Tyler, Cassie, Jordan, and Mariah; mother, Bernice Worden of Racine; sisters, Mary Ann (Wayne) Ramirez, Joley Garrison, both of Arkansas, Carol (Tom) Johnson, and Arliss Bass, both of Racine; sisters-in-law, Betty Heether of Racine and Phyliss (Bob) Moore of Custer; and many other relatives and friends. Her father, Lester Worden; and her son, David Jewell, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. All are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.

Thank you Sheri for being such a down to earth kind of person....had fun times with you and we were always glad to run into one another...hadn't seen you around for some time...now I know why...May God bless you!
