Dennis R. Madden

Wauwatosa - Born to Eternal Life on Monday, August 30, 2021. Age 74. Beloved husband for 50 years of Suzanne (nee Klausing). Dear father of Amy (Bryant) Davis and Anne (Josh) Pudelko. Loving grandfather of Oliver, Ellie, Otis, Taylor, Scarlett and Bennett. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. William and Helen Madden; his brother, John Madden; and his sister, Maureen Ellsworth.

Dennis lived his life serving others. He was a proud veteran, serving in United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He graduated from UWM with a degree in social work and spent his entire career serving those in need especially in the job search area, teaching classes at MATC and at job centers. He was a Special Olympics basketball coach for 20 years and also a hospice volunteer. He went quietly above and beyond helping so many. Sailing, skiing, running and playing tennis were his pleasures for many years. Above all, he adored his family. We will cherish the many laughs and fond memories and find comfort in knowing he will be reunited with family and some close buddies.

Visitation Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 2:30pm until Time of Mass of Christian Burial at 5:00pm at Christ King Parish 2604 Swan Blvd., Wauwatosa. Interment and Full Military Honors at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
