RACINE - Leslie K. (nee: Larson) Schmidt, 57, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Leslie was born in Racine June 21, 1947, daughter of the late Leslie C. and Margie (nee: Thompson) Larson. On October 16, 1971, at the First United Methodist Church, she was united in marriage to Paul R. Schmidt. Leslie's boys were her top priority in life. She was a creative Homemaker, giving special warmth and taste in both her culinary talents and design of her family's home. In her work as a Travel Agent, she had adventures that took her around the world - from stateside, coast-to-coast, all the way to Ireland, China, and Thailand. Leslie's compassion for animals led her to saving the lives of many stray cats, dogs, and birds she found in peril over the years; all to become beloved members of her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Paul; her three sons, Aaron (Allison) Schmidt, Bryan Schmidt, Kevin Schmidt, all of Racine; her mother, Margie Larson of Racine; her sister, Coralie Larson of Racine; her aunt, Louise Lehman of Las Vegas, Nev.; her uncle, Rudy L. (Nona) Thompson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
