I remember having 3 classes in the Park Pool building. Walking there in the winter was not fun.
I learned a lot about football by playing Junior and Senior girl's football.
I remember we could only go up one staircase and down the other staircase at the other end of the hall between classes.
When playing girl's basketball, we only played half court. Three dribbles stop and pass. Three guards on one side of court and three forwards on the other.We were "too delicate" to play full court.
I remember we had a wash tub band in one of the talent shows. I played a refrigerator grate.

Once in Mr. Kongstvedt's class, he made a hamburger out of paper. Two pieces on which he wrote bun, one piece on which he wrote hamburger patty and he added ketchup and mustard etc. Then he put it together and asked who would eat it. It generated alot of discussion about the meaning of words. Made me see the world differently.
Ms. Sawyer gave me the courage to get up and speak in front of a group. Served me well all my school years and work career.
