Charles T. Tishken, 56, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Racine, he was born on July 26, 1947, to John and Mildred (nee: Droysen) Tishken.

Charles was stationed in Alaska while serving in the United States Army from 1967 through June of 1973. He had been employed at S.C. Johnson and Son and later by GCA Incorporated. He enjoyed working with computers and especially joking with family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Thomas Tishken of Racine, Amy Tishken of Sturtevant, and Paula Rein of Racine; his mother, Micki of Racine; three grandchildren, Laine, Sydney, and Taylor; brothers, James (Judy) Tishken, Richard Tishken, and Jonathan Tishken; and sisters, Virginia (Dr. Thomas) Lange and Patricia (Daniel) Duffy. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John; and his former wife, Jane Tishken.
