Robert G. Rowland, 60, of Spring Hill, Florida, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at his home under the care of his family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin and moved to the area nine years ago. Mr. Rowland was a U.S. Marine and a member of the Gulf Coast Homing Pigeon Club and The First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Gail; son, Steve Mongan of Bradenton; daughters, Raechel of Los Angeles, California and Ann Mongan of Spring Hill, Florida; mother Delores Vitacco of Harrisburg, Illinois; brothers, Jack of Wellsville, Utah and Bruce of Racine, Wisconsin; sister, Hollie Zertuche of Harrisburg, Illinois and two grandchildren.
