Kathleen (Kathe) Lange Kexel left this world on January 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Kathe was a devoted nurse.  Kathe and Thomas Kexel were united in marriage in Japan on November 11, 1971.  After Tom passed in 2007, Kathe spent much time in Uganda.  Almost two years ago she returned to the states where she was able to receive a lung transplant. Post transplant Kathe and daughter Kela were able to travel one one end of the country to the other.  Kathe took full advantage of her return to good health.  Recently her health faltered again.  She was a true fighter and did not give up.  Kathe is survived by son Torin, his wife Alice and their children and Kela Kathleen Rose Kexel and her children.
